Leo Kottke also played at the Lobero this year (2026) and I got my dad tickets again. That time, he took my stepmom. This time (2025) he and I went together.

Fishbone, Bite Me Bambi and SoHo in Santa Barbara

 

Fishbone and Bite Me Bambi are currently on tour again, promoting the 40th anniversary of Fishbone's In Your Face album, but this show was from January 24th, 2025 at SoHo in Santa Barbara.

Best Friends Forever Day Three: Unwound (Rainer Maria), Murder City Devils, Piebald, The Get Up Kids, Drug Church, Jesus Lizard, Blood Brothers

 

There is a mistake in this comic which is that Rainer Maria played instead of Unwound. I just got this wrong when I drew the first page. Whoops!

So something about this comic is wrong. Rainer Maria did not play on this day. That was my mind playing tricks on me. Unwound actually played. When I print this, I will replace the Rainer Maria panel with the Unwound panel (see next post).

Drain, Terror, Angel Du$t, and H2O at the Hollywood Palladium

I missed a bunch of great bands like End It! and Mindforce, but at least I got to see Angel Du$t! This show is also a little out of order on this blog. I should have posted the upcoming Bikini Kill and Best Friends Forever shows first as those happened in 2024 before this one (2025).
